Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation initiates tender process for new sewage treatment plant

The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has initiated a tender process for the construction of a 424 MLD sewage treatment plant (STP) at Pirana, Ahmedabad in Gujarat.
The project entails the construction of a new STP and terminal sewage pump station, complete with mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment, as well as supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, along with associated works.
The design-build-operate contract is valued at Rs 825 crore and includes the successful trial run, commissioning, and operation and maintenance for a period of 10 years after the issuance of the commissioning certificate. The deadline for bid submission is May 13, 2024.
