Andhra Pradesh clears Rs 856 crore incentive for largest PCB plant
The Andhra Pradesh government has approved a substantial incentive package worth Rs 856 crore for Syrma SGS.
The electronics manufacturing company, in partnership with Korea's Shinhyup Electronics, is establishing India's largest printed circuit board (PCB) plant with a total investment of Rs 1,595 crore.
The government is providing 12.56 acres of land at a 75% subsidized cost for the plant, located in the Naidupeta industrial area.
The facility is expected to be commissioned by October 2026 and will produce PCBs for various high-growth sectors, including smart metering, healthcare, and electric mobility.
It's projected to add Rs 6,200 crore to Syrma SGS's top line by the fiscal year 2027.
