Andhra Pradesh CM lays foundation for Raymond Group’s Rs 1,201 crore projects

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has laid the foundation stone for three Raymond Group projects totaling Rs 1,201 crore, covering a silver-scrap apparel manufacturing park, an aerospace-components facility and a precision auto-components unit.
The projects are expected to create several thousand jobs and support diversified industrial growth in the state.
Raymond’s entry into aerospace and precision manufacturing reflects a shift among traditional textile players towards high-value engineering verticals.
For Andhra Pradesh, these investments complement ongoing efforts to build a multi-sector industrial base that includes textiles, electronics, engineering and renewable energy.
