Chennai firm Data Patterns signs agreement with IN-SPACe
IN-SPACe and Data Patterns (India) Limited announced a licencing and technology transfer (ToT) agreement.
Data Patterns (India) Limited is a top provider of vertically integrated aerospace and defence (A&D) electronics solutions.
An autonomous nodal agency within the Department of Space (DoS), IN-SPACe performs this function.
Data Patterns will be able to acquire small synthetic aperture radar (SAR) capacity as a result of the arrangement, boosting its remote sensing capabilities.
This technology, which was created at the Space Applications Centre of the Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro), provides the foundation for the organisation's upcoming high-resolution SAR satellite, NISAR.
Industry players now have access to the ToT technology thanks to IN-SPACe.
