With an emphasis on infrastructure development, Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL), the country's fourth busiest airport in terms of international traffic, is poised to launch seven huge projects on October 2.

At a celebration to be conducted at CIAL cargo terminal premises, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will launch CIAL's import cargo terminal, DigiYatra software developed by CIAL, and the upgrading of airport emergency service.

The Chief Minister will also set the groundwork for the international terminal's phase one extension, the golf tourism project, and the aero lounges. According to officials, these projects are meant to support CIAL's new vision of infrastructure development, dubbed "Flying into Tomorrow."

The strategic endeavours signify a new era of development for Cochin International Airport Limited. “Cochin International Airport is on the cusp of a transformative journey, launching seven mega-projects that redefine our developmental trajectory”, said Suhas, CIAL Managing Director.
