Dalmia Bharat Green Vision begins commercial production at unit in Tamil Nadu

The greenfield cement grinding mill at Sattur, Tamil Nadu, owned and operated by Dalmia Bharat Green Vision, a step down wholly-owned subsidiary of Dalmia Bharat, has successfully started up commercial production as of August 1, 2023.
The company's overall capacity to produce cement has expanded to 43.7 million tpa with the commercial production of the two million tpa extra capacity.
The Rs 686 crore capacity expansion would aid in meeting the needs of the southern region's expanding cement market. Pro rata capacity utilisation was 69 percent as of June 30, 2023.
