Epsilon Composite establishes Indian subsidiary to support power-grid modernisation
Epsilon Composite has announced formation of an Indian subsidiary to support domestic manufacture of advanced composite components for power-grid modernisation, aligning with India’s “Make in India” drive for critical infrastructure parts.
Local production of composite cores and high-performance parts can shorten lead times for utilities and enable lighter, corrosion-resistant components that improve transmission efficiency and tower performance.
The move signals growing interest from global materials-technology firms to localise production in response to large electrification and grid-upgrade programmes.
Deployment success will hinge on establishing local supply tiers and securing long-term purchase agreements with utilities.
