IOCL seeks feasibility study for MSW-Based CBG plant in Chandigarh
Indian Oil Corporation has invited bids to conduct a feasibility study for setting up a municipal solid waste (MSW)-based compressed biogas (CBG) plant in Chandigarh.
The study will assess feedstock availability, technology options, project viability, and potential integration with existing fuel infrastructure.
This move aligns with IOCL’s broader strategy to expand its renewable and alternative energy portfolio under India’s waste-to-energy and clean mobility initiatives.
The project is also expected to support urban waste management and circular economy goals.
