Kaynes Technology announces construction of OSAT facility in Telangana

Kaynes Technology has announced that it would begin building an outsourced semiconductor assembly and testing (OSAT) semiconductor engineering facility for its subsidiary, Kaynes Semicon.
The facility is located in Telangana's Kongara Kalan, close to Hyderabad.
At first, Kaynes Semicon will concentrate on supporting power device packages such as QFN, SOT, TO, BGA, and FC BGA.
The company had earlier stated that it intended to build a compound semiconductor factory and semiconductor OSAT for Rs 2,800 crore, with the expectation that this would create over 2,000 employment.
