Keysight Technologies begins test equipment manufacturing in Chennai

Global electronics measurement firm Keysight Technologies has launched test equipment manufacturing operations in Chennai, marking a significant step in localising high-end telecom and electronics production.
The facility will support production of advanced testing solutions used in 5G, semiconductor validation, and network infrastructure.
India is increasingly becoming a hub for telecom equipment manufacturing, driven by policy support and rising domestic demand.
The move also strengthens Keysight’s supply chain presence in Asia. The Chennai unit is now operational and expected to scale up gradually.
