Mundra Solar Energy Ltd installs Solar PV Cells and PV modules manufacturing plant
The Solar Energy Corporation of India ("SECI") has granted the commercial operational date ("COD") certificate to Mundra Solar Energy Limited ("MSEL"), an Associate Company, for the production facility for solar PV cells and solar PV modules in the Gujarati city of Mundra. The plant can produce 2.0 GW annually.
Through its wholly-owned subsidiary Adani Renewable Energy Holding Four Limited ("AREH4L"), Adani Green Energy Limited owns 26% of the shares of MSEL.
This manufacturing plant has been established as a result of a manufacturing-related contract given to AREH4L, which is developing solar power projects totaling 8 GW.
The SECI issued a certificate, which was received on August 17, 2023, around 12:40 PM.
Adani Enterprises Limited holds 74% shares of MSEL through its wholly-owned subsidiary i.e. Adani Tradecom Limited.
