Nashik civic body floats Rs. 203 crore bids for 6.4-km Pune highway stretch
The Nashik Municipal Corporation has invited bids worth Rs. 203 crore to develop a 6.4-km highway stretch connecting to the Pune route through the city.
The project involves widening and upgrading a corridor running parallel to an existing flyover to ease congestion.
Officials said the stretch is a key urban bottleneck and its improvement will streamline intra-city as well as inter-city traffic movement.
The upgrade is expected to benefit commuters and freight movement towards Pune.
Work will commence after completion of the tendering process and contractor selection.
