The National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation (NHIDCL) has awarded a Rs. 116 crore contract to J Infratech to rebuild a 20.44-km section of NH-37 (old) between Jhanji and Demow in Assam.
The upgrade aims to enhance regional connectivity, improve safety, and reduce travel times for freight and passenger traffic, particularly in a region critical for trade and economic development.
J Infratech expects to complete the project quickly, reflecting a fast-track construction strategy.
