NRB Bearings announces Rs 200 crore capacity expansion
NRB Bearings has announced a Rs 200 crore capacity expansion to support major European original equipment manufacturer (OEM) programmes, from leading European OEMs such as BMW, Stellantis, and Renault.
The company's board approved the expansion plan, which will include increasing manufacturing capabilities for cylindrical roller bearings, needle roller bearings, thrust and combination bearings, and taper roller bearings.
The capacity boost will also focus on upgrading heat treatment processes, infrastructure development, and downstream integration for improved efficiency and scalability.
“Our ability to win critical programmes across EV, hybrid and ICE platforms demonstrates both the strength of our engineering and our focus on execution,” Managing Director of NRB Bearings, Harshbeena Zaveri said.
