NTPC Green Energy and VOC Port Authority partner for Green Hydrogen mobility
NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the V.O. Chidambaranar (VOC) Port Authority in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu.
The partnership aims to develop and implement green hydrogen infrastructure and mobility solutions at the port.
This initiative includes setting up a green hydrogen fuelling station and deploying hydrogen-powered vehicles for port operations.
The collaboration aligns with global efforts to decarbonize the maritime industry and positions VOC Port as a pioneer in adopting clean energy alternatives in India's port sector.
NGEL is a key player in India's transition to renewable energy and is spearheading various clean energy projects across the country.
