PGI bags Centre's approval for Sarangpur Campus
The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGI) has received approval from the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to establish a new campus in Sarangpur.
This project aims to enhance healthcare facilities and cater to the growing needs of the region.
The new PGI campus will feature a 100-seat MBBS college, a 500-bed trauma center, and an advanced cancer center with capacity for 500 patients.
Additionally, a multi-level parking facility for up to 3,000 cars will be constructed.
The PGI Sarangpur campus will also include a screening OPD/emergency for 16,000 patients, a mortuary, a Sarai complex, and a super-speciality block.
