PM Modi to lay foundation stone for First PM MITRA park on his birthday
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone for India's first 'PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel' (PM MITRA) park in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, on September 17, coinciding with his 75th birthday.
The park, located at Bhensola village under Badnawar tehsil, is part of a central government scheme to establish large-scale textile manufacturing hubs with world-class infrastructure.
The project is a major gift to the state's tribal-dominated Malwa region, one of the largest cotton-producing areas.
The PM MITRA park is expected to generate 1 lakh direct and over 2 lakh indirect jobs, totaling 3 lakh employment opportunities.
It will serve as a model for the six other PM MITRA parks approved across the country and is poised to accelerate Madhya Pradesh's economy.
