PNGRB proposes natural gas pipeline between Jammu and Srinagar

In order to help Jammu & Kashmir's union territory fulfil its energy needs, the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) has proposed building a natural gas pipeline between Jammu and Srinagar.
The pipeline's downstream regulator has started a public consultation and requested feedback from all interested parties within a month on the planned pipeline's route and carrying capacity.
The Gurdaspur-Jammu natural gas pipeline will be connected to by the proposed pipeline, which will also supply gas to it.
