Seventeen industrial units set to begin operations in Ujjain
Seventeen industrial units are set to become operational in Ujjain from the upcoming financial year, signalling a steady expansion of industrial activity in the region.
The units, spread across sectors such as manufacturing, food processing, and engineering, have been developed within designated industrial areas to boost local production capacity.
Officials indicated that the phased commencement will generate employment and improve utilisation of existing industrial infrastructure in the district.
Ujjain has been emerging as a secondary industrial node within Madhya Pradesh, supported by improved connectivity and policy incentives.
The units will begin operations in stages as final clearances and trial runs are completed.
