Sundaram Clayton reports profit growth
TVS Holdings, erstwhile Sundaram Clayton has reported results for the January-March period.
Sundaram Clayton's net profit stood at Rs 143.6 crore as against a loss of Rs 47 crore year-on-year. Revenue for the quarter rose 6% from the same quarter last year to Rs 587 crore.
Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) came in at Rs 31.4 crore as against last year's Rs 15 crore.
Sundaram Clayton's margins expanded by 270 basis points from last year to 5.4%.
The company recorded a one-time gain at Rs 208 crore during the reporting quarter.
