TPREL and Supreme Petrochem to establish 12.5 MW captive solar plant in Maha
In order to build a 12.5 MW captive solar facility in Maharashtra, Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd (TPREL) said that it has inked a contract with Supreme Petrochem Ltd.
According to a statement by TPREL, it has previously signed a Power Delivery Agreement (PDA) in this regard with Supreme Petrochem Ltd through an SPV called TP Saturn Ltd.
The facility would be built near Achegaon in Maharashtra and produce 27.5 million units of power annually.
The plant is expected to reduce carbon emissions by 20,075 metric tonnes per annum and is expected to be operational within eight months of the signing of the PDA.
