UltraTech unveils newly commissioned cement capacity in Uttarakhand

UltraTech Cement has announced the commissioning of one mtpa brownfield cement capacity at Roorkee, Uttarakhand.
The unit’s capacity is now raised to 2.1 mtpa, and forms part of the 22.6 mtpa capacity expansion of the company, announced in June, 2022.
Further, with this commissioning, the company’s total grey cement manufacturing capacity in India now stands augmented to 138.39 mtpa. UltraTech is a leading manufacturer of grey cement and ready-mix concrete (RMC), and a manufacturer of white cement in India.
