Alkem Labs raises investment to Rs. 1,036 crore for Ujjain unit

Alkem Laboratories has increased its planned investment to Rs. 1,036 crore for setting up a new manufacturing facility in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. The plant will focus on production of pharmaceutical formulations.
The expansion is part of the company’s strategy to strengthen its domestic manufacturing capabilities.
The facility is expected to cater to both domestic and export markets.
