APMSIDC invites bids to build 4 medical colleges under PPP
The Andhra Pradesh Medical Services & Infrastructure Development Corporation (APMSIDC) has initiated a tender process for the construction of four new medical colleges under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.
The colleges, to be located in Adoni, Markapuram, Madanapalle, and Pulivendula, will operate under a Design, Build, Finance, Operate, and Transfer (DBFOT) model, with a lease period of 33 years.
Each college will have 150 undergraduate seats and 24 postgraduate seats, and will include a 625-bed hospital on its premises.
This project aims to complete the construction of ten previously abandoned medical colleges in two phases, attracting private developers to invest and improve medical infrastructure.
