Yeida bags Rs 3,000 crore investment as Renewable Energy Project near Noida Airport

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has secured a Rs 3,000 crore investment from the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group for a 3-gigawatt (GW) solar cell and integrated ecosystem hub.
Located on 100 acres in Sector 8D near the Noida International Airport, the project will use advanced technologies like TOPCon and Perovskite-Tandem cells to improve efficiency and reduce power costs by 10-15%.
This significant investment, which follows similar projects by SAEL Solar P6 and Integrated Batteries India (IB Solar), positions the region as a major hub for solar and renewable manufacturing in Uttar Pradesh and is expected to create over 5,000 jobs
