Emmvee Photovoltaic scales capacity to 10.3 GW with New 2.5 GW Karnataka Line
Indian solar manufacturer Emmvee Photovoltaic Power has reached a major production milestone, commissioning a new 2.5 GW solar module line at its Sulibele facility near Bengaluru.
This expansion brings the group’s total operational module capacity to 10.3 GW, a sharp increase from the 7.8 GW recorded earlier this year.
The commissioning, handled through its subsidiary Emmvee Energy Pvt Ltd, was completed within the planned timeline outlined in the company’s Rs 29 billion IPO roadmap.
The facility is equipped to manufacture high-efficiency TOPCon solar cells, targeting both the domestic utility-scale market and global exports.
Shares of the company rose 6% following the announcement, as the move strengthens Emmvee’s backward integration and supply chain resilience.
