Kerala clears KINFRA food park in Ernakulam's Kunnukara on 15-hectare plot

The Kerala government has granted administrative approval for the establishment of a KINFRA food processing park in Kunnukara, Ernakulam district.
The project, which is part of the state's Mini Food Park scheme, will be developed on a 15.3073-hectare plot of land near Kalamassery.
Funded by the Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB), the food park is a major initiative to boost the agricultural and allied sectors in the region.
According to Industries Minister P. Rajeeve, the park will host industrial units specializing in the production of spices, coconut, fruits, dairy, and bakery products, supporting the revival of agriculture in the Kalamassery Assembly constituency.
