Six companies allotted 60 acres of land in AURIC's Bidkin node
The Maharashtra Industrial Township Limited (MITL), the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) administering the Aurangabad Industrial City (AURIC), has allotted over 60 acres of land in the Bidkin node of AURIC to six companies.
These companies are planning a cumulative investment of Rs 1,261.2 crore in the Bidkin node. The official statement indicates that these investments are expected to generate 3,288 direct employment opportunities.
This land allotment is part of AURIC's broader development as a greenfield industrial smart city near Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
The Shendra and Bidkin nodes of AURIC, combined, have so far attracted investments of around Rs 85,000 crore and generated approximately 48,000 jobs.
MITL has, to date, allotted land to 185 companies, with 79 of them already operational.
